We think that breeding without taking health matters into consideration is irresponsible; all our dogs recieve the best veterinary screenings available. We test all of our breeding stock for the following diseases that can affect Welsh Terriers:

• DNA test for Primary Lens Luxation
• DNA Test for Degenerative Myelopathy
• Eye Screening (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
• Heart Screening by Certified Cardiologist (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
• Patella Screening by Orthopedic Surgeon (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
• Thyroid Screening (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
• Hips Screening (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
• LEGG-CALVE-PERTHES Screening (following procedure from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)

We believe in responsible breeding and proper identification. All our dogs are micro-chipped and have DNA profiles on file with AKC. You can find helpful health links on our Links page.
